Another catch up post while we sort and look for good pictures from our trip.  Pictures that don’t justify purchasing an iPhone 4 just yet.   These pictures are from mid-June.  You can see Tucker’s new hair hasn’t grown in much yet.

I like these because they demonstrate the two Tuckers.  The one you see in pictures and the one I see the rest of the time.

What a good quiet baby sitting so nice on the couch

In real life, every other second on the couch was filled with squirming and lots of banging objects on surfaces.

sweet baby boy

or velociraptor?

He loves to eat my face and on days when his nails are long, it feels like picking up this guy.

and I love every second of it.

First Flight

This is a pretty recent picture of Tucker and I where he’s using me as his personal trampoline.  It’s his favorite game.

Below is a picture of Ben and Tucker from about three weeks ago when we were fridge shopping.

Yes, Ben has had a hair cut since then.

Pictures together

Tucker loves Dad’s original baby blanket.  Also, this was the last nap in the bassinet as you can see he’s outgrown it, like woah.

These pictures are from a few weeks ago. Tucker is now sleeping in his crib (for the first half of the night any way).

Dads baby blanket

This past Sunday, Ben and I found ourselves overbooked.  Ben originally thought the animation geek-fest he wanted to attend started at 5pm, but it actually started at 2.  This directly conflicted with my noonish practice time since driving 10 miles in LA takes at least an hour.

I could’ve stayed home and taken what some would consider a much needed nap, but no.  I am determined to: get my game back, lose the baby weight and (even more importantly) get the little dude accustomed to people and new places.

So, I marched in to practice and announced that my son would happily hang with anyone willing to babysit so Momma can scrimmage.  There were many takers.  A lot of new girls hang out after practice to watch/learn the game and (score!) many of them are Moms.  He spent some time with the new girls but was fussy. The true saver of the day was Evie who had a sling in the car (from use with her amazing lil dude, Fin) and put off packing for Rollercon this weekend to calm Tuckasaurus Rex.

Tucker was out almost immediately.

He woke up eventually and when Evie wasn’t flying him down the line Super Baby style, he was watchin some derby.  Though Tucker has been to the derby before I’m pretty sure this is the first time he actually watched.

Sunday at the Derby

Polliwog Park has a botanical garden.  Tucker is very interested.
